Hi,any idea where I can get a new lower steering colum universal joint for a 1984 944?

Also check the OPC price, some things are cheaper than you would expect.
The Eurocarparts is the whole steering shaft for £55. Check the link at the top of this forum for at least 10% off this price.
 
[FONT=courier new"] Slightly OT - Are OPCs Franchised? I only ask as I have seen Adrian @ Exeter OPC mentioned as a good place for parts and wondered whether OPCs were able to discount / compete against each other on parts.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
 
Yes, they are franchised. OPC Exeter used to be Carrs of Exeter. It's still Carrs but when they moved site to the new corporate identity showroom (because they used to share with Mercedes until they withdrew all their franchies then tried to sell them back) they had to change to the corporate identity name also.
