Hi everyone,
After owning my car for about 6 months and ironing out the little bits and
pieces that needed doing from purchase, I've been able to seriously enjoy
it in the last few weeks, really finding how rewarding it can me on Norfolk
B Roads
However, on Saturday morning though I went to my car and as I drove out of the drive
I realised the steering was a little stiff, as I continued to drive on the
faster roads I realised it was very stiff. I stopped on the side of the
road and turned the wheel full to the left and right until it hit the stop
making the normal juddering noise, loading the engine, and seemed to feel
normal - so the power steering appeared to be working perfectly when
stationary.
Just in case, I then checked all my tyres which were at the correct pressures.
It isn't so noticeable at low speeds but through bends at middle speeds it seems almost like there's no power steering. I'm guessing that it's something like a failed bush, pump, or dare I say it, the rack.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks,
Alex
