Steering rack gaiter

Had a quick look under the car when I got home to see if I could spot the start of a small oil leak I have. I then noticed that the nearside steering rack gaiter is all distorted.

Is this anything to worry about or just old age? (the rubber's, not mine![:D])

I gave it a quick wiggle and it doesn't appear to be caught on anything, but the other one looks straight. I wont have time for a proper look until next weekend but thought I'd ask the question
