I fitted turbo tie rod upgrade about 5 years ago but the rubber rack bellows do not last(keep splitting)I have had 2 sets and I need them again.Poor quality rubber. Has anyone had similar problems and did they find a cure. Will genuine tubro bellows fit?

Also I want to upgrade from Boge front shocks and fit Bilstein inserts as I have Bilsteins on the rear.
Before I buy is there any way apart from a strip down to tell if this has already been done as you can not see much when its jacked up to check colour etc.

Cheers.

Are you using OE spec boots?

The reason I ask is that generally speaking teh quality of rubber on aftermarket or pattern parts is very very poor. My company is connected with the car industry and I would advise anyone to pay more for OE parts where there is rubber content.
