You will require the following:

997 613 445 03 - Electronic Unit - 114

997 612 673 00 - Wiring Harness - 66

997 613 433 02 V04 - Switch - 170

997 613 434 02 V04 - Switch - 170

The steering wheel will have to come off and the switches added to it; these connect to new electronic unit.

The car has to be coded by either a dealer or independent with a PIWIS computer. I am assuming you do not have the telephone module fitted to the PCM as if you do the new switches can also control the phone book, call accept etc.

Thanks Nick,

Just what i needed to know. I do actually have the telephone module fitted, although this was recently upgraded to the mObridge Bluetooth unit. I hadnt even thought about the control of the telephone book. Sounds great.

Cheapest way to do the upgrade is find a used multi function wheel on e bay. Even if its the wrong colour the parts can be swapped over. When coding the gateway needs to be coded to see the steering wheel electronics unit and the PCM to recognise the multi function controls have been added. About half an hours work for a decent tech though expect the dealer will charge you for an hour.
