My car was very low mileage until last years PEYT in September and I then decided to use the it daily and enjoy it. It's just clocked 18K.
Last year I noticed that the leather colour on steering wheel (3 spoke / Savannah) was beginning to deteriorate where my right hand holds it - at approx the 3 o'clock position. The main dealer didn't want to know because of its age. Now it's getting worse and the other side about 9 o'clock position is going the same way.
It's as if the top layer of leather is coming off - or maybe it's just the connolising. I can't be sure as I am not a leather expert - either cars or the bedroom []
I have never had this happen before in any other car I have owned and to be honest it's very disappointing.
If I get it re-connolised I guess that means unpicking the stitching and it will never be the same again.
I don't know what the answer is. Any suggestions??
