steering wheel height adjustment

Does anyone know if the steering wheel has a height adjustment as well as the it being adjusted back and forth. Its really annoying as my knees touch the steering wheel and I have trouble going from the gas pedal to the brake. I have a 97 Boxster.

 
Steering wheel height adjustment is something that has been added on the new 987 Boxster, but it's sadly missing on the 986 model.

As suggested by Rickster, lower the seat as far as you can, then adjust the steering wheel towards you a little more than you might normally do. (It actually moves forward at slight incline and gives you a tiny bit more clearance for knees).
