Ive found a good deal on a 944 Steering wheel, the part number is [FONT=arial"]964.347.084.00 (02 VERL).

The steering wheel on my S2 (which is looking very tatty!) is 944.347.084.09 (10 VERL), does anybody know if they are compatible?! My guess is yes they are but I thought I'd double check top see if anyone knows!

Thanks!

from the 964 model onwards, the 911 shared the smaller (Golf Mk1) spindle size: earlier 911s used a larger early Beetle sized shaft.

Itll fit but it may well be slightly larger, probably about 20mms, so Id get the vendor to measure it for you.

I bought some leather dye off fleabay and it has brought the steering wheel rim back like new so you may find that is cheaper than buying a new wheel. Did the gear knob at the same time with the same good results.

FYI, I went for it, and it fit's a treat, really sets off the interior now!

Thanks for the help!
