Steering wheel question..

Shark

New member
I have been looking for a club sport steering wheel for my car (951) to replace a silly momo wheel that was on it when I bought the car a few weeks ago.

The club sport wheel is £250-£500+ for used/refurbed/new condition. The wheel itself is made by Atiwe, in Italy.

The model of wheel is "Atiwe 32"

I have been looking around and it turns out various versions of this Atiwe 32 wheel have been fitted to Alfa, Lancia and Fiat Abarth models. I found this one for sale at a fraction of the cost..

..and I think with a Porsche badge fitted it would go very well in my car (guards red with linen leather/dash/carpets/doors)

I would need an appropriate boss too.

My question is.. does anyone have any idea if it would fit my car? My thinking is with it being the same model of wheel (Atiwe 32), it should fit with a club sport 944 boss?

whats your thoughts?

Thanks!

Wood - in a 944?! That's all wrong. Lovely in a 1970's Alfa/Fiat etc, but not in an 80's/90's Germanic monster. But of course, this is just my opinion, and of no technical use at all!

I know.. I think I agree with you.. I think I'll probably just go with a mint stock wheel for now and keep my eyes peeled for a club sport in nice condition.

Buy a rough wheel and get it refurbished by Royals for £100

They did one for me and the quality is stunning. [:)]
