Steering wheels

Which aftermarket steering wheels do people have fitted?

I've been looking at the Momo range and a lot of them are deeply dished at 70mm and I feel this would bring the steering wheel too close to me to be comfortable.

The current Sparco in the car has a 40mm depth which feels good but IMO the wheel is too small.

I realise the Momo Mod 07 (like Des just fitted) is the closest to the cup steering wheel (but again it's a 70mm dish). I like the simplicity of the 02 which is also deeply dished. I might have to go for the similar 05 with a 40mm dish.

Des/anyone... Does the yellow centre mark reflect in your direct field of view in the windcreen?

Any other manufacturers fitted in other RS's?

The three spoke 07 is the right wheel, those other two spoke look awful and not aunthentic, bt the way the 07 should have a black satin finish and not silver.

You will need a highly trained N-GT technician to fit the 07 RSR Wheel. It's not easy. A lot of skill and time involved. You will find getting the yellow strip centred an art, only by driving the car with an expert at hand finely adjusting until it is completely centred. I have the name of an expert 07 RSR wheel fitter who will only charge genuine 964RS owners a very special rate indeed. He took three hours to perfect my new driving position talking me through the entire process. He hankers after a 964RS Clubsport, keeps insisting on test drives. Nice chap real keen and enthusiastic, very methodical perfectionist.[;)]

Momo 07 Cup style with yellow top band and satin black spokes . No , you dont see a reflection of band in windscreen , and believe me if you have LHD non power assist then the bigger the dish the closer the wheel is better . I fitted a spacer to get it even closer but if you have orang utan arms that wont be necessary [:D]

Des, did you get yours at demon tweeks? And was the satin black finish ordered specially - their standard 07 looks dark silver on their piccie.

Yes Demon Tweeks....MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT BOSS! They supplied the correct black finish do not get silver!!!

Rich, the wheel is a doddle to fit, the yellow tape at the top does seem to distract the driver though.
I was going over final fit and alignment with a certain NGT pilot, he was concentrating so hard on the yellow marker he failed to notice some very fit young ladies walking past.....can't be healthy [:D]
