steering wheels

Hi all. My C2 will be 17 years old next month and I am thinking of up-grading my steering wheel. The present multi-function wheel is an "aluminium look" finish with a triangular centre boss and is looking a bit dated. There is so much information regarding steering wheel replacement on the internet that I am becoming a little confused!
The new wheel does not need to be multi-functional - it has the buttons for the old phone system and volume control which are no longer needed following the recent installation of the new PCCM. Keeping to Porsche, I quite like the look of the 991 wheel ie black leather with either black or polished aluminium spokes.
Has anyone else carried out a similar up-date?
