hi everyone in my boxster s i have the original stereo does anyone know weather there is a device i can buy that will take my ipod or does it mean i will have to buy a new stereo that a can plug the ipod in to

What year. You need to find out if your existing head using uses the MOST optical bus. If so, you need to use something like a Mobridge or Dension. Early models use wires (!) so is not such an expensive solution!

If the stereo is pre optical bus and you don't want a CD changer then you can find a cable for a few pounds on ebay that plugs into the CD changer socket and changes it to a line in. Google about as there is a sequence of buttons you need to switch the radio to Aux mode. Then you can simply connect from the headphone socket on your iPod. Next up you could use something like a Belkin Tunebase direct. Finally this will allow a good quality link to something like a Parrot kit which will work with iPhone and bluetooth as well.

thanks for all you replies going next week to get it sorted at least it can be sorted out thanks
