Steve Wong Chip

I'm on the verge of ordering a Steve Wong chip. I notice from previous posts that there may be the possibility of a discount for a 'group' buy.

Anybody else thinking of buying one??

Guys,

There was a good discussion on the subject of chipping over at impactbumpers.com, see the thread here:

Cheers,

Tim.

I would be interested in a Steve Wong chip also - Would Steve accept a voucher scheme ie we order against a reference he gives you?
That way we all transact individually but benefit from the discount,

After reading the advice here I'm going to book my car in for a dyno session before buying a chip, which means I won't be able to partake in the group buy at this stage.
Sorry guys.

Placed order today including payment.
Got some interesting advice from Steve re my fuel quality setting on my DME. Turns out I've had it set to a lower fuel quality which will have impacted my performance - so should really notice a difference with superior chip and correct fuel setting for RON 98.

Did you give any more thought to a group dyno run following installation - perhaps we could again benefit from a group discount?
Cheers
Mike

Hi
No - received a mail to say all orders in and despatched - he said we should get them late last week to early this week.
Cheers
Mike

When you said chips arrived today did you mean your chip or all chips - coz mine has still not arrived.
Mike

Hi
Got mine today - any further tips to installation, did you have to remove the seat?
Also did you turn the fuel quality switch to zero?
Cheers
Mike

Installed my chip last weekend and feel that it pulls more enthusiastically through the gears but haven't noticed anything at higher revs - although it has always been strong there.
Steve mentioned checking for full throttle opening and microswitch operation - did you check this following your installation?
