Stickers Wanted.

65 mat

New member
Just wondering if anyone can help me. What I am after is a pair of "Matter" stickers ( replicas obviously) , as featured on all Clubsport and Cup models ( or any cars with the full welded in cage). Has anyone ever replicated these? If not, can I have some pictures please on which to base a replica. I cannot see there being any copyright issues because as we all know, Matter closed down years ago.

Thanks, Matt.[:)]

Matt,

Not sure which sticker you're after, but if this is what you're looking for there's a guy selling recreations here.
Ebay.com - Matter Stickers

Pic of Porsche (not RS cup though) with same Matter stickers from Google.de...

Yes it's the silver ones I am after Hacki. Any chance of a pic or a scanned image?

Many thanks! Matt. [:)]

Strange, no good picture possible. The sticker seems to be made of some metal material, it reflects badly. I try to find a solution to get a pic that makes a reproduction possible.

Sorry,

Hacki

FYI Matt its the front one thats hard to even photo , has a unique serial number on it..................

My car was repainted both inside and out in a 'custom' colour, and so the original stickers have gone.

Matt,

the original Matter sticker is made of a special metal material, the numbers e . g. for the year and model are then printed in individually by hand (like a VIN is printed into a chassis with these little tools, sorry for my poor English) So, bear that in mind when working on a replica. I´ll try to get you a picture that works for you, could be diificult due to reflections and the fact that the sticker is glued on the cage tube.

Rgds

Just seen you got it.

What does it say after "Typenprüfung"?

On my sticker it is "Spezialkäfig Stahl" which means "Special cage steel"

Matt, I have one on my car --- why not get all the details next weekend ?

Unless it's different from the others --- yours was a Cup ?

Is the CS exactly the same ?

(Gosh --- number 1000 ??)

(Hang on, the one above that is also 1000 ??)

From the examples I have seen the CS & cups appear to have the same cage, the stickers on both are designated. TYP "Porsche Carrera 2"
Not that I would be sad enough to have a photo collection of such porsche cage stickers or anything weird like that. []

Will do Chris!

Melv... who is TG mate? Promise I will post some pics over weekend...not very good with computers...not much call for them in my industry.
