Stone chip on headlight lens

I've just got back from a day out in wiltshire- and due to the new method of repairing roads by covering them with gravel I have found I have a small stone chip (about the size of the finger nail of the smallest finger) in the lower edge of one of my headlight lenses.

Has anybody had a lens replaced (987) and so could give me an idea of the cost of repair or should I just ignore it ?

The headlight 'glass' isn't available separately, you have to buy a complete replacement headlight (£185+VAT).

If the glass isn't holed (and leaking) you could leave it - or maybe one of the windscreen places could repair it in the same way they do windscreens.

I suspected that I may have had to buy a complete headlight- are they quite easy to change ?

I think I'll leave it for the moment- I wouldn't of thought it would be repairable as its made of plastic not glass. I washed the car yesterday and it doesn't seem to be leaking.
