The organisers of the Stonor Park show near Henley have extended the following invite to Porsche club members:

Following the 30th Anniversary VW Expo at Stonor Park last year, the main display arena will be split in half, with the main Concours event at the top and the show'n'shine at the bottom of the field which created a lot more display space for the top cars. We have also introduced Class 10 for Classic unmodified Air-cooled Porsches, with the later water-cooled Porsche's still placed in Class 21 with the Audi's, which is an open class for standard and modified cars.

We also launched the Air-cooled Avenue, as part of our Show'n'Shine competition, engaging the many diverse clubs that make up the Association of British VW Clubs. We are planning a similar enterprise for all water-cooled models for 2015, for which we wish to extend a welcoming hand to all Porsche, Audi, NSU and DKW owners.

The date for next year's show is Sunday 31st May, and owner's can pre-book if they wish to display their vehicles via our website,www.abvwc.com; the cost of entry remains at £5.00 per vehicle. Pre-booking is advised as the entry cost on the day is £11.00 per adult (children under 16 are free), and then to display in the paddock costs an additional £5.00. The deadline for pre-booking is Friday 22nd May.

Hope to see some of you there

This could be a nice warm up for Kempton only three weeks later and a scant week before our monthly meeting I will most likely attend.

Hi all,

Just a reminder that the cut-off for pre-booking entry to Stonor Park is 22nd May. Cost to pre-book is £5 per vehicle vs an entry fee on the day of £11 per adult.
