For various reasons my beloved 997 C4S will spend approx the next six weeks in the garage. I will wash it and wax it, i have a trickle charger and it is garaged under a soft cover. Anything else I should do / be aware of before putting her to bed for this long? Thanks in advance. Andrew

I am a bit worried about flat spots myself as my car hasn't moved now in 2 months. I am going to try to take it out today.

Mine regularly sits for over 5 weeks with no issues, I do connect a battery conditioner though.
Just make sure the brakes are completely dry and the handbrake is left off, and it should be fine.

Took my car out on Sat after it sitting in the garage for a solid 2 months. Only issue was the clutch was VERY stiff to push in when starting. Once started though the clutch fluid circulated and it was fine.

I use a CTEK trickle charger so battery was fine too. No flat spots or any other issues noticed whilst driving.

I gave the car a good workout in prep for next weekends 200mph run at Brunters. I also filled up with petrol, oil, checked tire pressures and cleaned out my BMC Sports air filter (had lots of debris in it). Fingers crossed, I should be good to go now [:D]

Mine didn't agree with not being driven over this winter.
I normally try to drive it at least once a fortnight in the winter for a good long trip but this year for one reason and another I didn't and the brake discs have rusted to an unacceptable level that has not proved possible to remove over 2 months and some 'spirited' braking. I now have a minor judder that will require new discs.
