Storing for the Winter

Any advice, I have decided to SORN the car at the end of October and re-tax in March as I did not use it much last winter due to the salt.

Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to store the car :-

Tyre Pressures whilst in store (I cannot remove the wheels due to confined space in my garage) ?
How much Fuel do I leave in the tank ?
Is it worth starting the car and taking it out on the drive, if so how often and for how long do I run it. Or will this do more harm than good ? Think this would be good for the clutch though.
Battery will be on trickle charge using my Cetek charger.
Garage is attached to the house and remains nice and dry and cool, never had a problem with any condensation in the car whilst in storage.
Handbrake will be left off which is how I always leave it in the garage anyway.

Any hints and tips appreciated.

Andy B.

I'd be concerned about just turning the engine over for a few minutes as that wont be long enough to dry out any condensation in the engine/exhaust system etc.

You'd be better taking it out once a month for a decent 30 minute run, on a dry day when there is no salt about.

Andy,
Answering your questions:
Tyre pressure - keep it as prescribed by Porsche (like for normal use). Low pressure will damage the tyres
Fuel - always keep it full tank to avoid corrosion
Driving a car during the "store" period - I do not see any problem if you chose dry weather, otherwise you get salt under your car and... if you wash your car afterwards you get extra humidity... I would however refrain from starting the engine from time to time - better use your charger

One more hint - even your garage is warm and dry (actually because it is warm) - every time you get the car out in the cold and bring back will create extra humidity in the body of the car...

Hope it helps
