Hope you all survived the storms Yesterday. I have a bit of property damage caused by hail / ice blocks that were over 2" diameter [:mad:] , also the roof decided it couldn't cope & dumped a lot of water into my Kitchen too [:mad:]

Still, not as bad as Helmsley [:(]

I saw the devastation caused by the flash floods on this mornings news. It is fortunate there was no loss of life. Helmsley is not far from us and we heard the rumbling of thunder all afternoon. Hope they can get back to normal as soon as possible.

We had 32d down here and it was almost unbearable
saw the racing at oulton park on TV [:eek:]
what a difference a few miles makes
 
I was at the North Yorkshire County Show on Sunday where it was unbelievably 'sticky', showed 31Deg on the car temp gauge... we left just as the clouds were coming across.... at the time we did laugh when we saw a loverly Aston in the car park with its roof down, but none of us expected the weather we got. Within a couple of minutes, the temp had dropped to 18deg .

All in all, very bizaar weather. Its put a lot of crops on the floor too [:(]
