Strange movement from headlights

Happy new year to you all!

I haven't driven the 944 for a week or so now, and I noticed tonight that the headlights were doing something a bit odd that I hadn't noticed before.

When switched on they pop all the way up and then settle a litlle bit lower - like they do a little jump. I'm pretty sure they just came straight up and stayed right up before.

Any thoughts?

Switch on the headlights and open the bonnet. If you move the lights to their correct position you should see movement in the lifting mechanism which shouldn't be there. I'll bet the nut on the end of the motor is loose. Grease all joints, put a drop of locktight on the thread of the nut and re-tighten.

If this is not the problem then ignore the above, just peer under the bonnet, scratch your head and mutter to yourself ...
 
i love seeing people doing that haha, pop the bonnet and if you look at the engine lokg enough you will know what is wrong hahaha
