Morning - has anyone had or heard of a fault like this ?
When the car has been started and run a few miles I can hear a groaning noise from the engine when I depress the clutch, or come off the throttle. The noise lasts for about 4 seconds then disappears. It only happens when the car is in motion and only after a few miles. There are no other symptoms. The pulleys, belts etc. were replaced last year and my local indie has re-checked them, and they are fine. The clutch and other bits were also replaced last year.
Where should I look next for the source of the problem ?
Could it be caused by lack of use and it will disappear ? (It's in daily use now, as I'm taking it to the Le Mans Classic, and don't want to arrive courtesy of the AA !)
Thanks for helping
