Stratos and 964RS Similar Feel Handling?

Buddy of mine does the Tour Auto in a real Stratos every year, ex-F1 pilot. Says it's MEGA tricky to drive... given your history with the 964 on parade laps, I'd suggest you steer clear of a Stratos Des!!
Although having watched that video, I TOTALLY want one!!

I would think it would be harder to drive than an old 911, after a certain point, the Stratos was mid engined and a very short wheelbase.

When it gets into a spin, it must be a nightmare/impossible to get back, even the rally drivers of the day always mentioned it was a handful, before it all went 4wd.

I don't think anything drives like a 911 really, but there are two flavours, torsion bar cars and coil-spring cars. Coils are more predictable, therefore faster. TB's are in some ways nicer on a winding undulating road? or the yumps and ruts of the East African safari? [8|]

Never drove a Stratos, - followed the Circuit of Ireland as a kid back in the day when the Chequered Flag Garage London sponsored one.
Sounded like a chain-saw mounted in a pram.
Certainly added interest to the field of rally cars as the Italians do, but the relatively muted wail of the the 911 Carrera were what stuck in me.

And peering thru the side glass in the service area at the 5 glass front dials, the intrigue of seeing the pedals sprout from the floor.
