Stuck gear box fill plug

The fill plug on my gearbox is seized solid. I can get under the car with a wrench but clearly cannot manage enough leverage for it to budge. It's been soaked in WD40 for the last few days (Halfords didn't have any plusgas) but it still isn't shifting.

Any other ideas/tips on how I can move it or do I need it on a ramp to get the leverage required?

Thanks

It is definitely worth increasing the length of lever you are using. If increased leverage fails to work, you could try applying one of the pipe freezing sprays used by plumbers, directed onto the plug. This may shrink the plug just enough to free the thread. The alternative is to apply localised heat onto the plug with a blow torch, allow it to cool down, then try turning it.

Wear some gloves when you're doing this job as it's ruddy painful when your hand slips.

Yes, my thought- heat it with a blow torch, then plus gas and it should come undone. use a breaker bar.

yes but not at the same time hopefully ? [;)][:D][:D][:D]

Did Halfords not have any of their own-brand "Shock and Unlock". It's part penetrating oil, part freeze/expansion action. I've tried it on some rusted suspension bolts and it seemed to work.
