The windows are a dicky on my 944s, and i now find the passenger side down about 3 inches - how can i get it up??? Switches are non responsive , drivers side working fine.....

As per your other post mate the window sits in tray which itself sits atop a scissor mechanism called the regulator. The motor drives the regulator up and down to move the window assisted by gravity on the down cycle. AFAIK the only way to move ther regulator up and down is by means of the motor. It was not designed to have a manual overide like the sunroof. You must find out why the motor is not working. First check all of your fuses and relays. I can't remember if the windows are on seperate relays or not. I would seriosly suspect the motor if I were you as both switches don't work although stranger things have happened. Try swapping the drivers switch with one of them and try again. Failing that take off the passenger door card and sniff out the motor. See if you can't get battery voltage directly to the motor. If that doesn't do it the I am afraid it looks terminal for the motor. When you are in there you maybe able to jam the regulator in the up position until you get sorted.

Fixed!
Changed the drivers witch over one at a time until i found the duff switch - Need two good switched to make the passenger window work, job done!
Thanks for the help.
