Yes - just driven back from Conwy to West Riding and heard about the M6 blockage. Have great sympathy - air con on BM has been at full blast all the way.

One of the reasons I moved on from 3.2 to a 993 was aircon ( and yes I do know you can get 3.2s with air con and yes I do know that the 993 aircon can be problematic! ) other reasons were ABS and airbags - don't mind killing myself ( speaking figuratively ) but don't want nearest and dearests being damaged.

Probably speaks volumes about my assessment of my own driving skills!!

Phew back home. Almost wish I had taken the polo with ac, oh the shame. Never mind, the blat back from preston was ok :)
 
I replied to your post then went back out in the sunshine to get a tan, did not want to be "stuck " in my study in weather like this.[8D]

Stuck at work, with one reactor shutdown on outage, and its sunny outside [:(]
