Seem to be supporting my tyre bloke a lot recently ( blow out and then two nails) . Got to thinking some of my other cars have had nuts to keep the wheel on while the sportier ones have had studs ( series 2 landrover excepted) . Probably been beaten to death already as a topic. So sorry but here goes! Which is better and why? The only one that is obvious perhaps studs are more flexible if you want to change the spacer/ offset of the wheel , you just use longer studs. Not possible with the 'nut' version. Other reasons?
