OK the parts guy explained the differences to me but I have these 2 lock washers and it looks like they may be intended to fit around the circumferential cut you see on each end of the 968 M030 ARB. Is this correct? Otherwise I can't see what those cuts are there for.
On a related note is it best to unbolt the strut upright from the ball joint? ISTR last time I helped my brother take the ARB out to change the bushes this seemed the quickest and easiest way to get the ARB all connected up again. It took less than 1 hour in total so maybe we got it atleast 1/2 right.
