Today whilst working on the car I must have caught the interior locking button on the centre console,I've shut the door with the key and remote in it.Bugger.The bonnet is open as is the engine bay,so I can get to the electrics and fuses and wondered if there is a way to open the electric windows or the remote locking from the fuse box or any other tricks.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your door-open switch must not be working otherwise you can't do what you have done. Hopefully someone will come along with a 964 wiring diagram and you can work out how to trick a door switch that the door is opening - that will trigger the central unlock.

Good luck!

I have the wiring diagrams for the 964 email me greg@confettimediagroup.com and I'll send it to you.

It happened to me once but weirdly my mate's 911 key opened my door - you may have the same luck as the tumblers do get worn a little...

hope this helps..

Thanks for the replies and for the offer of the wiring diagrams Greg,I managed to retrieve the keys today by wedging the window open partially and managed to pull the keys out of the ignition switch and then hooked them off the floor.Nothing like as clever as I was looking for,but nonetheless, effective.
