Style update for 986

Had a play with some small styling additions to give the old 986 a lift...

Looks nice on that colour, not sure it would suit all colours though.

Black wheels are all the thing at the moment....not sure how long it will last though....

 
Thanks - I think you're right, only on certain colours. I reckon a reverse of white or even light grey/silver would look good on a black car.
 
I have been 'watching' these side decals for some time - yours look really nice.
Are they the same or where did you get them from?

Yeh I like the stickers, Im having some made up in white to go on my Ocean blue 986 but Im contemplating going with silver instead of white as without white wheels the sticker may stand out too much.

Ill decide when I see them on as I can make up the decals for free anyway which will let me experiment a little :)
 
I think the ones advertised may be done by a guy in the TIPEC club in Scotland, if not there is some one who does this type of graphics in the club he drives a black 944 with orange wheels and decals and is stunning ,He is also doing work FOC for our charity day out in August see my post in events Scotland region 1
 
Years ago 'Boxster' stickers on the underside of the rear spolier were all the rage - don't expect too many of those around nowadays ?

Black wheels are very much a current fashion - think they look good when done properly but far too many 'max power' cars kicking about with rattle can wheel refurbs for them to be a long term style.

I've still got my "Boxster S" sticker on the spoiler, and I love the black/liquid black wheels [8D]

Ah well, I always was behind the times... [:D]
