sudden drop in revs

I have a 997 auto which has developed a slight drop on power occasionally , approx 200 RPM ? Its doesn't happen when the engine is cold and appears to occur after I've been driving purposefully, after decelerating to join traffic and applying light pressure on the throttle to maintain a steading/constant speed . Its only an infrequent/occasional issue but is becoming more noticeable . Any idea's ?
