Suggestions for Servicing in Wales

Guest

New member
Hello all - as a proud new 964 owner you can spot me by the size of my grin - but does anyone have any suggestions for servicing given that I live in mid-wales and Porsche specialists are rather thin on the ground.
I assume the nearest are going to be Cardif/Bristol in the south, Welshpool/Wrexham to the north or Hereford/Worcester to the east.

Hi, from Mold, North Wales

Nothing doing up here I'm sorry to say.

I use 9M in Warrington as the nearest outfit that I trust. I wish that they would open a branch in Wrexham!

Hi. I lived in Cardiff for a few years and found Merlin Cambria very good and reasonably priced. They have recently re-located and re-branded themselves but the people are still the same.

If that is too far, there was a guy called Dave Coombes working as "RS Porsche". He had a mobile facility and was willing to travel. May be worth looking him up. He was ex-Merlin Cambria and did most of my smaller jobs for convenience/cost reasons.

I've used Discount 9 Autotech Ltd - near Bridgend for the last 2 years and always found them very helpful. Ask for Anthony and mention Mr Allen told you!

Good luck with 'Discount 9 Autotech' [:'(] and thats all I can really say on the forum...?!!

I use Dave Coombs at RS Porsche and have found him very good so far. His workshop is in Penarth and will post contact details tomorrow,

Adrian
