Sump plug

Does the sump plug have a washer/ sealing ring?

If so, I think I might have misplaced mine (i.e. lost) in the last oil change. A tad annoying as the plug is weeping Royal Purple.

50p from a motor factors. It's good or practice to change it each time anyway. Can sometimes get stuck to the plug and you wouldn't notice it.

The next question is how to get the plug out and add the washer without losing too much of my fresh Royal Purple! It doesn't seem like good practice to put it back in.
 
If you are 100% that what you are emptying it into is pristine clean and will remain so then it shouldn't be an issue.
