also where can i get a owners hand book for a 1986 944s

cheers for any help

Try Porsch-Apart for used bits or Berlyn Services for more reasonably priced new bits.

I assume you mean thre rear fog light? RHD cars all have two as far as I am aware (LHD only have one) and you should also have two reverse lights.

12k will be right for servicing (or 12 months) - only Turbo's are different with a 6k oil change service in between.

Belts are 48k or 5 years I think, but lots of us change them at 36k or 3 years - better safe than sorry.

Owners handbook is an eBay job if you're lucky, or main dealer. I think they are either £5 or £12 - sorry I know that's mad, but I bought one once and I honestly can't remember which it was.

Servicing is 12K or annual, belts depends how lucky you feel - 48K and four years is riskier than most people are prepared to be!

Go to www.gmundbooks.com, their product code is WKD94408720. Or Ebay.

Probably either. I know a lot of people use 15w-50 but don't be tempted by 0w-50 as 944s just burn it - old (design) engines don't have fine enough tolerances.
