Sun shade for 718

Is it possible to get a Porsche windscreen sun reflector for a 2016 Boxster (you know, the thing that stops the inside of the car frying on these sunny days)? The only ones I can find on the interweb seem to be for older models - are the dimensions different?

Cheers,

Trevor

Thanks very much. I thought I’d been through the lot but that supplier had obviously eluded me.

Cheers,

Trevor

I bought mine from Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota Florida when we were on vacation a couple of years ago, as mentioned they are not cheap but good quality and comes with a very durable cover to slip it into.

Thanks for that. I was wondering why they're not available in the UK. I guess it's something to do with our more usual weather!

I'm looking for one for my 987.1 and came across the Suncoast site. The shade looks fantastic and the reviews are great but the carriage to the UK is more than the part so i'm back to the drawing board at the moment. Will follow with interest incase any other suggestions come along otherwise I might have to bite the bullet!

I'm in the market for one too! If there are a few of us we can share the postage costs.

That could be a plan..... I'd certainly be interested in that idea [:)]

Shall we start a list; think it should be administered by a club member ( I don't want it to be me):

Why don't you just buy a universal one and trim it down to suite cost under a £10 ..how many days will you use it ? certainly not up here in Scotland :ROFLMAO:

Anyone else?
Delivery would work out to about £35 each between the three of us. Ideally greater uptake would be favourable but if not would you and @TDH be happy to proceed on that basis?

Yeah I'm OK with that.
Me too, just wait to see how it sits with @TDH
Yep, fine by me. The sooner the better - I’m off for a spell in the south of France at the end of the month and it’s usually still pretty warm down there at this time of the year.

Is there a facility for private messages on this forum? We need to work out how to sort the money out. Whereabouts on the country are you two?

Trevor,

You can find Private Messages under the Forum drop-down, then My Forum Settings in which you’ll see PRIVATE MESSAGES & CONTACTS/FRIENDS.

Alternatively if you click-on the member’s username, under Profile Options you can send them a PM.

Jeff
