Sun Visor

The lid to the vanity mirror was left open while the roof was down. On shutting the roof the lid caught between the roof and the bodywork.
Having opened the roof to free the lid the lights will not come on at the side of the vanity mirror.
Has anyone else had this and is there an easy fix or will it be an expensive option ( for thev wife)?

Glad to see I'm not the only one to fall foul of this, Geoff!

As it happened, car was going in for a service about the same time so I mentioned it to the East London OPC. I remember trying to get the sympathy / plonker vote by saying something like "don't know if there was some warning in the Handbook - if there is, then I hold my hands up". As it happened, they fixed it FOC without further discussion. Nice result.

(Oh, and I now put my lipstick on before getting in the car.......)

Daft question maybe, but i assume the sunvisor has been relocated back into the retaining bracket, from where the electrical circuit is made when the visor is in use.
