Sunday 7 August - Intermarque Gathering, Pulloxhill

If you haven't already seen details in Porsche Post or via Andy Jones' e.mail newsletter, the 3rd annual Intermarque Gathering is on Sunday 7 August - 12.30 pm at The Cross Keys pub in Pulloxhill, Beds.

Members from the owners clubs of Ferrari, Aston Martin, TVR, Jaguar, Bentley, Lamborghini, De Tomaso,etc have been invited. The pub is laying on a BBQ for £5 per head and the bar will be available during the afternoon. A few traders have been invited too (specialist model cars, wheel refurbisher, dent specialist, etc). I can't guarantee who will turn up, but last year we had over 70 cars from a varierty of clubs. []

You can turn up on the day, but to help planning, please could you let me know that you are intending to come. There is no entry charge, but I am again collecting for a local registered charity - Keech Cottage Childrens Hospice for respite care.

Hope to see many old and new R10 faces on the day.

Don't quite know what the 'bump' is for, but from reading other threads i'm assuming it's not a 'bump read scratch' reference. In which case, what time on Sunday would everyone normally clear off home?

Tony, the "bump" was to move it up the forum listing....its still going ahead.

Likely to wind-down by 5 pm ish based on previous years , probably some people with further to go leaving earlier.

A big "thank you" to all those members who turned up - we had over 50 Porsches and some 30 cars from other top marques, including Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.

Weather was good too [] - what more could you ask for?

Thanks also to those of you who kindly made a donation to the day's charity - Keech Cottage Children's Hospice which offers respite and palliative care to terminally ill children. We raised just over £305. I'm sure a few people possibly "forgot" [8|] to make a donation, as it was such an interesting and hot afternoon - if they wish to add to the "pot", I will gladly take further donations by cheque - payable to "Keech Cottage Hospice".
