Sunday 7 November - Fireworks and BBQ

Our November Monthly Meeting will be our annual "Fireworks and Winter BBQ" at Manor Farm, Hanslope, on Sunday 7th November from 5.30 / 6.00pm. [:)][:)]

This is a family-oriented event; kids are very welcome (but remember it is a working farm, so you'll need to keep an eye on them[8|]) as are friends and colleagues. The more the merrier.

A BBQ in the dark and cold month of November is unusual, but we have access to a dry barn and the use of a large commercial gas BBQ griddle (bring your own food), so it's actually practical and a bit of fun. The fireworks require everyone's participation "" bring one large firework each. If there are enough of us this will enable us to put on a pretty good show for everyone. Robert, the farmer, may also provide a bonfire for us "" last year it was a major beacon! [8|][:)]

Pray for better weather than this Sunday!

Got the fireworks yesterday. Have gone for quantity this time!

Great.[:)] There are some real deals around this year on fireworks, with a retail battle going on between the big supermarkets - everything's 30-40% cheaper than last year. I've bought a large "cake" named something like an "RPG"??! but somehow I don't think it's for eating [8D][8|].

Let's hope we get a good turnout - no matter what the weather!

Weather forecast is looking very favourable [:)]. Should be a good night. See you there.

If you need directions, let me know.

I just looked it up on Google maps. It gave a post code of MK19 7BQ. It looks like the right place and thats where we will be going tonight.

Hope that helps .

That seems to be it. I'll try to put the Club bunting down at the bottom of the driveway...
