Sun 7th - Thirlstane Castle (Lauder, Berwickshire) - (Sporting Bears also)

This is a reasonably large classic car show set in the grounds of Thirlstane Castle (which is about an hour south of Edinburgh. We are planning on attending and having a barbecue. (Lots of different clubs etc will be attending)

Anyone wishing to assist with Sporting Bears please contact me for further details. (Three have committed to Sporting Bears so far and I will be running the Red Car in the afternoon for the kids) This is basically where you take passengers for a run of about 12 mile around the castle on public roads and the charity organisation charge your passenger for the ride, all money going to charity.
(www.thirlestanecastle.co.uk, www.sportingbears.org.uk )

Anyone wishing to travel together, we will be leaving Dreghorn service station on the Edinburgh South city
by-pass at 9am.

In order to gain entry to the grounds with your car I need your name, model of car and registration prior to the event to register with the organisers. Please email me or call me with details. 07971 664 647.

Thanks
Scott.

guys,

this is two weeks today,

I have fifteen free passes for entry !

I need names and registrations for everyone that is attending prior to the event, but I can hand out the passes at Dreghorn on the morning.

Of on hols for a week tomorrow, so can also give out passes at Sherbrooke or Dakota prior to event.

Regards
Scott.

Scott, please put me down as a definite perhaps. It's looking OK now, though I'll probably have to bring the dogs and ask someone to keep an eye on them if anyone wants a cabby with me. With luck I'll park them with a friend for the day instead.

It's K756 FYO. Someone was admiring the car the other day and mistook it for a 56 plate! [:D][:D][:D]

Hi Scott,
please put Shona and I down for this, S22DRH. Also Ricky with the white 928 and his other half would like to attend, UPB928.
Cheers,
Donald.

I'll bring something for the barbie.

The TIPEC guys are meeting at Dreghorn as well, I think a wee bit earlier though. Maybe they could hang on for us lot and make it a giant-sized Porsche convoy?

I am going along will be leaving at 8.45 sharp ..I believe we are in different sites in the show which is a shame would have been nice to see a load off Porsche's together It was the organizers who set out the show so had no choice in the matter and to be fair this is the first time PCGB have attended ,but i am sure you will be made welcome no matter what club stand you visit as we have all one common interest ...see you there

Hope you all had a great day today, the weather was good which is a bonus.

Brian, apologies, I forgot the Porsche Post on Thursday [:(]

Great day out and the weather was fine especially late afternoon drove home all the way with the hood down ..good show a total off 33 Porsches pity we where split up would have been good to see all the cars together .
