Hi All

Just to keep you informed that Ann Marie and I have organised a nice drive (about 35 miles) amongst glorious Lancashire countryside that should take about one and a half hours, then finish off with a nice meal too.

We have decided that rather than start in the morning, this time we will depart at 4pm from the NEW Barton Grange Garden Centre, Garstang Rd, Brock, Preston PR3 0RB.

The garden centre really is a super place to browse around and we will be meeting there in the car park from 3.30pm but feel free to get there earlier if you wish to.

After that its through the countryside taking in Abbeystead, then via the Trough of Bowland to the Spread Eagle Hotel, Sawley where we will have our own room (hopefully).

There is a vast selection of food on offer and there is no need to book that in advance.

However it would be great if you could let me know by email if you intend to come at least a week beforehand so that I can let the hotel know numbers. pr.bull@tiscali.co.uk

Look forward to seeing you.

We're down for this, the later start is a great idea BTW, gives us time to make a trip to tip in the morning :) Oh the joys of Summer.

Lets hope its a good day weather wise !! Fingers crossed.

There have been over 80 hits on this posting so we may get a good turn out.

Ann Marie and myself will be in the car park about 3.30 - if we can all park near the entrance gate that would be best.

See you Sunday!

Thankyou Peter and Anne-Marie for organising yesterday's event. It was nice to see so many friends enjoying the drive and the excellent food, at such a great venue. Definitely Region 18 at it's very best.

Cheers

Mac and Sue
