SUNDAY JUNE 3RD MEETING

As a one off, this month I have arranged for light refreshments, in the way of tea, coffee and sandwiches to be available for members who attend the meeting. I took a stab in the dark at numbers and ordered for sixty, which I take to be a fair estimate of the number of mebers who usually attend. The region is able to do this because we can take advantage of the cost avoidance by not having to pay for our meeting room. I have arranged this so that we can meet in the Silkwood room where I will introduce myself to the members properly, with some time for Q& A. As always, any alcoholic beverages will be self funded.

I look forward to meeting you all on Sunday

Could someone please give me details of the venue and the timing.

Thanks in advance

Bob

Great to see so many turn up on Sunday. We even had a gentleman drive from Chichester, and other member from Gerards Cross who has been a member for close on thirty years. That's what you call keeping the faith, if you like. Amongst the cars parked in Porsche Strasse was a rather nice silver 944 which was in fine condition for its age and a credit to its owner. Can I say a heartfelt thank you to all of you for coming and making the formal introduction of the new R/O a resounding success.

Thank you for your effort. It was my first Sunday event and I found it worthwhile and enjoyable. Having gone through the previous posts on this forum I must say that you are a brave person to take on the RO job.

Thanks for organising the Sandwiches and refreshments John, my first meeting for nearly 7 years, a very enjoyable afternoon, and a good natter on all things Porsche.

We will try to support you from here on ..... I kind of 'lost my way', but I'm back now :0)
