Hello everyone,

On Sunday the 4th March I am planning a run out to RAF Holmpton www.rafholmpton.co.uk which is something a bit different for the region. The site says we have to be there for 2 pm with the tour starting at 2.30 however as its late in the afternoon I was planning that we meet up at 11.45 in Currys car park on St Andrews Quay which is on the right as you enter Hull from the A63 with a departure time of 12.15. We will then go to the Station Hotel which is at Patrington and have a Sunday lunch first. The parking at Holmpton is secure so there is no worries there and the admittion fee is £5 but depending on numbers we might get a group discount. Can those that want to go please post below so I can contact the base and the restaurant.

Regards,

Neil & Lizzie

P.s Edited to put the meeting place as I have just re read it and didnt put an exact place []

Hi,

I think Jayne & myself will be fine for that date. At least we won't have to worry about the weather!

I might be up for a bit of this - We need to get this year off to a flying start

Well as the place is designed to take a nuclear blast I am sure that a wee drop of rain wont do any harm.[:D]

Please add another 2.5 places. Since we live North East of Hull, we'll head straight to Station Hotel - so please don't wait for us at St Andrews Quay.
