Hello everyone,
Hope you are all looking forward to Sunday 7 Nov and breakfast at 10.00am at NY500 near Pickering.
There are 21 cars attending and 38 people.
We intend to stop at Wetherby services on the A1 at 8.30 to leave at 8.45 prompt if anybody would like to join us for the run over. If not, just make your own way there. It will be a steady run mostly along the A64 to get there on time.
The Beverley contingent will probably use another route.????
We have been allocated a parking area at the venue, to the left of the cafe near the ice cream van.

See you on Sunday,

Chris and Linda

Looks good for Sunday Chris, I mentioned to the "Beverley contingent" of the route we are taking, starting from a parking area on the Westbound side of the A614 just outside Driffield, Val and I will be at the car park at 9:00am and intend to set off at 9:15, anyone who wishes to join us is more than welcome, it's a picturesque little drive so should be enjoyable.

Hope it's warm enough for ice cream [8D]

I wouldn’t turn up too early Pete, that layby is opposite the most notorious dogging site in East Yorkshire! Maybe worth taking your camera??

Hi Chris
Have we been given allocated seating inside. And are they adding more tables and chairs to seat us all.
We have been a few times and only a few tables inside.
regards Glenn

Sorry to hear that, hope your dog gets better soon.

Please include John and Estela Hamilton - travelling from Sheriff Hutton, so close to home for us!

A slight change in our route from Driffield owing to the A64 closure at the weekend.

No probs, just turn up.????

If the roads dry out, I’ll give the Spyder a run out and run the risk that all the sausages will be gone before I get there!

I understand that the work on the A64 is scheduled Monday to Friday 8 pm to 6 am for the month of November- road closed at night excluding weekends.

There's a lot of conflicting information, several reports saying it is closed at night and at the weekend until the 8th November.

Google maps and Waze still have it closed but they are not perfect either.
