Here we go again, it’s almost Sundi Brekki time!!????

We will be meeting at Keelham Farm Shop, 21 Gargrave Road, Skipton BD23 1UD at 10.00am

Everybody who has put their name down on the forum is on the list to attend. There are currently 40 attendees.

There is availability for 60 people so if anybody else would like to attend please let me know asap ( before 12.00am Friday4 March) below so that I can organise the necessary catering.

The car park will be relatively empty when we arrive so there will be no problems. The shop opens at 10.00 but the restaurant is open from 8.30.

The restaurant is situated at the far end of the building away from the car park and there is a separate entrance at that end. We have use of the room on the first floor so please make your way up there. A lift is available if required.
Breakfast will be buffet style at £10 per person. Please settle your own bill before leaving, unless you can run fast.

Looking forward to seeing everybody again.

Chris and Linda. (PS it’s Linda’s birthday on Sunday??)

Hi,
I'm new to the group and would like to attend the brekki this Sunday.
What information do you need from me?
Looking forward to it!

Thanks,
Catherine Woolley

Two for me please hopefully. It's only up the road from harrogate.

Is there a drive out afterwards at all or purely a meet?

For those who want a drive out on Sunday after the Sunday Brekki here is a suggested route.

Suggested Start Time 12.00

You don't have to be attending the Brekki to do the drive

It takes about 2½ hours and I've finished it at Mackenzie's Smokehouse in Blubberhouses. (no arrangements have been made there -if its full, its full).
There are other opportunities for stops along the way, in Settle, Horton in Ribblesdale, Hawes, Buckden Kettlewell.

The route is a Googles Maps custom route; the best way to follow this is with a smart phone in a phone holder, or using Apple Car Play in a newer car. Alternatively you can print out the directions, click on 'Details" when you view the route in google Maps. You should be able to follow these if you have a paper map too. The print out will also have the post codes for the waypoints.

There a some guides to using Google Maps Custom routes which can be downloaded from the Files section of the PCGB Yorkshire Region Facebook Group.

If you have a Mitex General walkie-talkie do bring it, it might be useful.

Everybody who has signed in above is now included.
Numbers for catering have now been given to the restaurant so the Brekki is now closed.

See you on Sunday,

Chris

Cool - may tag along up to Hawes, then diverto over Buttertubs, along the back road to Reeth and back over Grinton (the 2014 Tour de France route) :)

If anyone is interested, I am happy to lead a pre-breakfast run heading out from Harrogate about 8:30, up round Nidderdale on some glorious scenic (and empty at that time) roads ??
Let me know if any interest.
