sunken headlamp pod

Hi there, I have been working on the front headlamps of my s2 and have replaced the rubber boots on the bolt that determines the position of the headlamp unit when raised so that headlamp alinement is consistant, I cannot see any stop to determine the closed position. The n/s headlamp is a little lower than the body line and I cannot see how to adjust this, hope someone can help, John

As above; its all going to be in the two tri-bolt mounted hinges now. Their holes are elongated.

Thanks for that but it is not the height at the fulcrum (triangular mounts) that is the problem it is the front of the lamp pod that is below the boby line,I cannot see a stop other than the rubber filler part.

The triangular mounts are highly adjustable. Once you have loosened them off you can twist the whole fulcrum so that the front of the pod is raised yet the rear of the pod stays still. It's a fiddly process and will involve lots of loosening and retightening until you get it right

Thanks for that I'have a go at them over the weekend, thanks again,John.

Be careful with the bolts as they are really easy to strip the threads off.....
