A couple of questions please
1.How would I test if my ignition wiring/switch is faulty and not giving a live feed to my sunroof motor and if faulty...2.I wanted to run another live(when ignition is turned on)to the motor how would I do so?
I have trcked down that there is no live feed to the sunroof motor and checked the following:
all micro switches fine.rocker switch fine.all relays fine.all earths fine.
A big help if anybody can help
many thanks

If other ignition switch dependant lives are working - lighter socket say - then its probably not the switch.
Do you have an aftermarket alarm on the car - sometimes they just pull any wires to put through the alarm, like my boot release, which I discovered when I had apparently no live to that.

The alarm checks out all ok and the lighter socket is working aswell.
I wondered if I could run a seperate live feed to the wiring plg to the rear motor pack if it would work or would I have more issues?

Probably , but I'm not sure what the current draw is on the motor, so you would have to be careful to get a appropriate feed.

Yes checked micro switches all ok.
There is no live to the sunroof motor and when I operate the switch on the console I can hear the relays clicking but still the roof wont operate.
Getting desperate if anybody can help please[]
