SUNROOF BAG SWAP ANYONE?

Hi lads, just wondered.

I have a 1991 S2 in Titanium metallic with classic grey interior but it has a brown sunroof bag fitted (in excellent condition) and it strikes me that it should really, and probably originally had a black sunroof bag, so it struck me that perhaps one of you out there was in a similar position with a black bag when a brown would be more suitable!!

Anyone? [;)]

Now now! I asked first [:D]

Does anyone actually use their sunroof bag? It seems to be one of those accesories that is a little pointless I suppose [:)]

mine is immaculate as its never been used lol [:D]

whilst were on a wanted mode, id like an original porsche air pump too please [:D][:D][:D]

I've just paid out for an immaculate black bag from Porsch-apart as my car had 'lost' the original at some point.

I do intend enjoying some open air motoring this summer, so I needed something to put the roof in...[:D]

My S2 came without a sunroof bag, so I made one from some lightweight cotton canvas.

Much cheaper than the £50 you can buy them for. And yes, I do use it ...

Oli.

Am I right in thinking that the later cars didn't actually come with a bag but just the straps instead?

There is only reference to the straps (which I have, still wrapped in their original label) in my handbook.

I think I'm going to create my own 'bag' as I suspect the straps would damage the paint on the panel if it was to move around beneath them - at the moment I'm taking the risk of leaving the panel at home if I'm only going out for leisure.

just been out for a drive and wipped the roof off, it sits lovely in the bag I must admit if not a bit fiddly on your own. I think im just going to buy a black one so mine will be up for grabs soon. if anyone wants dibs let me know, it will be about £30 delivered. ish..
