Sunroof Misbehaving

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]A few weeks ago I played about with the stereo and the wiring behind it and after fixing that little problem, the sunroof decided to no longer work. Assumed I must have disturbed the wiring and would come back to it.

Today I was at the lights and thought I'd try it just in case... and it worked fine, up and down smoothly, but it only did it once.

Back at home I tried it again and nothing. Turned the igntion to position 1 and the latches retreated but then wouldn't come back. Wiggled the console switch and tried all different ignition positions to no avail. In position 1 the motor whirls despite the latches already being retreated. I'm puzzled.

Does this sound like dodgy wiring or more like a faulty microswitch or something else?

I had something similar happen and the central microswitch at the fronmt was getting stuck on the edge of the trim. A quick wiggle and all was well.
