SUNROOF ON CAYMAN

Has anyone seen a Cayman with a sunroof? (No not a Boxster)

Does anyone in the UK do an aftermarket sunroof slide or pop out?

John,

I've never heard of nor seen a sunroof for a Cayman and I'd suggest that it would drop the value and effect the possibliity of resale, why do you want one when you have air con as standard?

I'm sure that the roof is too small for a sliding sunroof module and the curve of the roof on the 987 is probably too extreme to allow such a thing too, a lift out panel may be possible but it may be effected by internal ribs, sorry but I can't advise on where they are.

One of the main reasons I sold the cayman and got a boxster

we get so little blue sky I want to get all I can[:D]

Why my next porsche will either be a boxster gts or a 991 gts with sunroof!!

John,

As Kevan has noted, the double curvature of the Cayman roof would make it very difficult, although I suppose a pop-out could be feasible.
