Hi,

As it was a hot day i decided to take the T2 for a spin.
Went to open the sunroof and nothing happened........checked the fuse and swapped this with another and still no joy.....no sound nothing

Guys do you have any idea......as i did have it open about 4 weeks ago and it was fine.

Cheers

Have you checked the relay as well as the fuse?

If there is no power going to the motor this is the only other thing I can think of other than a spontaneous motor failure or wiring problem.

If you have the porsche handbook (supplied with the car by porsche) there is a section that explains how to manually open and close the roof. This also allows you to physically get to the sunroof motor.

My sunroof has stopped working too but it is one of the cables that has broken. The motor still activates but only the left side of the sunroof tries to retract causing it to jam.
