Sunroof rattle when open

My trusty 2000 mdl C2 has developed an annoying rattle when the sunroof is anything over half way open. It sounds as if either the back portion of the roof is banging against the inside of the main roof, or a pully or cable has become loose and is trying to escape to a warmer climate.

When i put my hand against the lining towards the back of the roof it stops and all is quiet. Is there a quick fix or do i need to go to the nice guys at Leicester OPC and give them some money?

Regards

Pete
